Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

welcome to the official website of the international open conference "Sharing and Learning Remembrance – European memory culture(s) in the 21st century”.

From the 6th to 10th of May participants from museums, organizations and citizen initiatives related to the topic as well as the public from different European countries will gather in Potsdam, Germany to discuss their distinctive approach towards the remembrance of fascism.
The central aim of the conference is to analyze trends within a “European memory / remembrance culture(s)” in the sense of how Europe handles it's own past as well as to ask to which extent “memory /remembrance culture(s)” emerged after World War II.
